Arrive Haridwar

Short drive to Haridwar, one of Hinduism's holiest cities and the point where the Ganges truly begins its plains journey. Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, one of India's most atmospheric river ceremonies.
Day 2
Haridwar Sightseeing

A morning at leisure around Har Ki Pauri and the old town's temple lanes, before continuing your journey — most visitors treat Haridwar as a full-day add-on to a Rishikesh stay rather than an overnight in its own right.

Onward to Nainital

Drive from Haridwar to Nainital (approx. 4.5–5 hours).

Nainital Sightseeing

A day of short walks and viewpoints — Naina Devi Temple above the lake, and (season permitting) a drive up to Snow View or Tiffin Top for wider Himalayan panoramas on a clear day.
