Day by Day

Day 1
Arrive Haridwar

Short drive to Haridwar, one of Hinduism's holiest cities and the point where the Ganges truly begins its plains journey. Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, one of India's most atmospheric river ceremonies.
Day 2
Onward to Chopta

Drive from Haridwar to Chopta (approx. 8–9 hours).
Day 3
Chopta Sightseeing

A trek (moderate fitness required) up to Tungnath, said to be the world's highest Shiva temple, with the option to continue to the Chandrashila summit for a 360-degree Himalayan panorama.
Day 4
Chopta Sightseeing

A further day at Chopta for those who'd like a second attempt at the Chandrashila summit in clearer weather, or a gentler day exploring the surrounding rhododendron forest.
Day 5
Departure

Morning at leisure in Chopta before a private transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
