Rajasthan Family HolidayA slower two-city Rajasthan trip designed around families — fewer transfers, longer stays in each city, and hotels chosen for pools and family rooms as much as for location.
Rajasthan's forts involve a fair amount of walking and heat, so we deliberately keep this version to two cities with longer stays, rather than the three- or four-city pace adult travellers often prefer.
Drive from Agra to Jaipur (approx. 5–5.5 hours), with an optional stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital, roughly midway.
A full day of Jaipur's headline sights: Amber Fort in the morning light, then the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar observatory and a photo stop at Hawa Mahal.
A second, more relaxed Jaipur day for the walled-city bazaars — block-printed textiles, gemstones and Rajasthani crafts — with an optional Rajasthani cooking demonstration in the afternoon.
Drive into Udaipur, arguably Rajasthan's most romantic city. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Pichola past the City Palace ghats and the Lake Palace, timed for sunset where possible.
A full day covering the City Palace complex, Jagdish Temple and the Saheliyon-ki-Bari gardens, with free time in the old city's lakeside cafes and haveli-lined lanes in the afternoon.
A boat ride on Lake Pichola at sunset, plus free time to explore Udaipur's old-city bazaars and rooftop cafes at your own pace.
Morning at leisure in Udaipur before a private transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
Well-located hotels in each city, twin-sharing with breakfast included; a 5-star or heritage-property upgrade is available on request.
Private air-conditioned vehicle and driver for the full itinerary, plus any internal flights specifically listed in the day-by-day plan; airport transfers included.
Daily breakfast included. Lunches and dinners are at your own choice so you can explore local restaurants, with recommendations from your guide — let us know if you'd prefer these pre-arranged instead.

It works well for children roughly 6 and up; for toddlers we'd usually suggest trimming the sightseeing further and can tailor a version once we know your children's ages.
Fully private — your own vehicle, driver and guide, on your own schedule, not a fixed-departure group tour.
