Golden Triangle with Jodhpur & UdaipurA fuller Rajasthan loop: the Golden Triangle continuing overland through the Blue City of Jodhpur and finishing in Udaipur, covering four of Rajasthan's most distinctive cities by road.
If you'd rather see the desert landscape between cities than fly over it, this overland version links Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur as one continuous route rather than isolated flights.
Private airport pickup and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, the rest of the day is free to rest, or we can arrange a gentle evening orientation drive past India Gate and the illuminated government buildings of Lutyens' Delhi.
Private drive from Delhi to Agra (approx. 3.5–4 hours). Afternoon visit to Agra Fort, with the Taj Mahal reserved for early the next morning when the light and the crowds are both at their best.
Drive from Agra to Jaipur (approx. 5–5.5 hours), with an optional stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital, roughly midway.
A full day of Jaipur's headline sights: Amber Fort in the morning light, then the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar observatory and a photo stop at Hawa Mahal.
Drive from Jaipur to Jodhpur (approx. 5–5.5 hours).
A full day centred on Mehrangarh, one of India's most dramatic hilltop forts, followed by Jaswant Thada's white marble cenotaph and a wander through the spice and textile stalls of the old clock-tower market.
Drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur (approx. 5.5–6 hours).
A full day covering the City Palace complex, Jagdish Temple and the Saheliyon-ki-Bari gardens, with free time in the old city's lakeside cafes and haveli-lined lanes in the afternoon.
Morning at leisure in Udaipur before a private transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
